About Juliet
Juliet Travers Wallpapers & Fabrics was founded in 2013 by textiles designer and Edinburgh College of Art graduate Juliet Travers.
A farmer’s daughter who grew up in Scotland with her five siblings, Juliet’s love of drawing was instilled in her by her mother who used to paint Disney characters and story book murals on each of her children’s bedroom doors. Juliet’s husband is also from a farming family in Zimbabwe and the brand clearly reflects her strong connection to wildlife and her surroundings, both in the UK and Africa.
Juliet deliberately stepped back from actively pushing the brand forward last year, to focus on commissions and creative development. While her signature collections were rooted in wildlife themes, her most recent body of work represents a clear evolution — more decorative, layered and expressive, while remaining timeless and sensitive to how fabrics and wallpapers are used within English interiors today.

From Sketch To Wall
Artisan Design
While working for De Gournay in London, Juliet recognised a gap in the market for mural-inspired prints and patterns that combine bold visual impact with delicate detailing. Shortly after leaving the family-run firm, she launched her own brand.
Today, Juliet's designs are used in both commercial and residential projects around the world, supported by a growing international client base. Every design begins as a hand-drawn artwork created in studio, where she also develops each bespoke colour palette.
The patterns are then printed in traditional English factories using the iconic gravure printing method. This intricate process is central to the brand's identity, faithfully capturing every brushstroke and pencil mark from Juliet's original drawings. Each wallpaper is coloured using hand-mixed dyes and printed on sustainably sourced papers, while the brand's soft linen-cotton fabrics are digitally printed to perfectly complement the wallpaper collections.
